Meet Dr. Nick

Nick Shah, NMD is a licensed Naturopathic Medical Doctor, and offers patient-centered care in Scottsdale, Arizona. He graduated with a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from the Sonoran University of Health Sciences, including extensive experience in biomedical research and clinical applications. His medical practice focuses on integrative medicine, specializing in chronic illness care including prevention and wellness, autoimmune disease, supportive cancer treatment, and neurological (neurodevelopmental and neurodegenerative) conditions.

Dr. Nick’s holistic approach combines innovative modern medicine with evidence-based integrative therapeutics for optimizing health outcomes. Along with IV nutrient therapy as a foundation, he utilizes comprehensive functional and specialty lab testing, medical grade supplements, botanical medicine, nutrition and lifestyle, neurofeedback, and acupuncture.

Dr. Nick is committed to providing a high standard of care, helping his patients recover from chronic conditions and return to a state of well-being. His clinical experience includes notable work having successfully provided integrative and naturopathic medical treatment for hundreds of patients from across the country with complex chronic illnesses (autoimmune disease, cancer, neurological disorders). He believes in treating patients holistically, focusing on the whole person and addressing the root causes of disease to stimulate the body’s innate healing capacity.

When not in clinic, Dr. Nick enjoys spending time with his wife and family, exploring natural health and wellness, healthy cooking, gardening, nature photography, hiking, yoga, meditation, and reading about Eastern philosophy. Having lived around the world (US, Belgium, India), he appreciates meeting people from various cultural backgrounds and is fluent in English, French, and Hindi.
